The best Indian Fusion Restaurant I have ever been to is Vij's

Travel Tip posted by cicero

I went out to dinner in Vancouver last night. On the recommendation of friends we tried Vij's Fusion Indian Restaurant. To say it was great would be an understatement.

We had to wait an hour to get a table and they don't take bookings. But the wait was easy to pass with a drink in the bar and they bring around tasters to keep your appetite in check. A very nice touch. Once seated the food is timely and tasty with other small inclusions like Naan bread as standard. The atmosphere of Vij's was buzzing and the service was brilliant.

Whether it be a house, flat, condo or similar. 2010 Home rentals are an awesome way to make some serious cash during the Olympics.

Thought it might be useful.

Good Sushi Restaurant - Vancouver (Denman St)

Travel Tip posted by cicero

If you are in Vancouver there is a really nice little Sushi place on Denman St. It is the kind of place you could walk past being quite narrow with only a few tables but Denman St isn't that long so it is fairly easy to find. It is nearer the beach than the Stanly Park side of things.

Sushi is widely available in Vancouver. There are plenty of Sushi Restaurants but this is a good choice.

When in Vancouver Granville Island is a Must-See

Travel Tip posted by debussy

Granville Island is one of my favourite places to go when in Vancouver. Although technically an island, it's located in central Vancouver, on the south shore under the Granville Street Bridge and can be accessed by boat, by car, by bus, by bicycle or on foot.

This is a truly remarkable place if you're up for a bit of market shopping, some fresh seafood, some culture, or just to sit & watch the world go by on the wharf outside the food hall (generally to the tune of a busker or two).
